Medical Uses –
Minocycline is used for the treatment of several different bacterial infections such as respiratory infections, severe acne, urinary tract infections, chlamydia, fever, and many more. This medicine is also used to treat syphilis, gonorrhea, and many other infections.
How to take –
Take this medicine via mouth as instructed by your doctor. You should take this medicine before 1 hour or 2 hours after lunch or dinner. This medicine should be taken as a whole with a full glass of water. Do not chew, break or chew this medicine as it may increase the risk of side effects. You must read carefully and follow all the instructions on your prescriptions before taking this medicine. When you use this drug for a long period then it may need frequent medical tests and to stop take this medicine for a short time if you need any surgery. Do not breastfeed when you are taking this medicine as it may pass into breast milk and can affect tooth development and bone in a baby.
